Gail K. Ellison, PhD, catalyzes writing by medical students, healthcare professionals, and patients. She teaches the Reflective Writing Elective in the University of Florida College of Medicine, works as Writer-in-Residence with the Shands Arts in Medicine program, and offers workshops for caregivers and students.
What's new:
Gail recently completed the draft of a textbook, Reflective Writing in Medical Education. The book is designed for use by medical students and faculty who share her interest in the importance of stories in medicine. In Fall 2007, Gail is testing the book in three sections of her course in the UF College of Medicine. See
